The eVisa system rolled out by the government with an original deadline of 01 January 2025 has been postponed until 31 March 2025 – provisionally. 

Amidst glitches and chaos, there are grave concerns that without access to eVisas, migrant communities could be locked out of their rights – putting thousands of people at risk.
