About us
Founded in 2013, Waltham Forest Migrant Action (WFMA) is the only organisation providing free immigration advice in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Our weekly drop-in centre offers visitors a warm welcome, free advice on immigration, housing and welfare issues, and opportunities to socialise with the local community.
WFMA is governed by a Board of Trustees. You can read our constitution here.
Vision
Our vision is a fairer and more equal society for people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants.
Mission
Our mission is to provide support for local people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants in Waltham Forest; and to advocate and campaign for the rights of migrants in the UK.
Strategy
As life becomes ever more difficult for migrants across London, the UK and the world, we remain committed to fighting for a fairer and more equal society for migrants, and supporting our fellow human beings who are often suffering in the most extreme of circumstances.
This is what our 2025-26 strategy sets out to do.Read WFMA’s new Strategy for 2025 – 26.
